“Research in Sport Management and Motor Behavior” is committed to keeping pace with international publishing standards and is founded on peer review and open access principles. Accordingly, the journal has adopted a double-blind peer-review process, in which neither the authors are informed of the reviewers’ identities nor the reviewers are informed of the identities of the authors. This ensures that manuscripts are evaluated solely on scientific merit and free from prejudice or bias.
Manuscripts submitted through the journal’s online system are sent for peer review if they are consistent with the journal’s scope and meet the journal’s established standards. Following the Editor-in-Chief’s final approval, accepted manuscripts proceed to the publication stage.
“Research in Sport Management and Motor Behavior” is committed to the highest standards of peer review. In accordance with publication ethics, the journal follows the policies and guidelines of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) and complies with the executive regulations of the Law on Prevention and Combating Fraud in Scientific Works. In cases involving potential research or publication misconduct and retraction, the journal follows the relevant COPE regulations.
All submitted manuscripts undergo a double-blind peer-review and evaluation process to ensure the methodological quality and scientific rigor of the research.
After a manuscript is submitted through the journal’s online management system, it is initially reviewed by the journal office, journal expert, and Editor-in-Chief, normally within a maximum of one week. Authors are therefore requested to carefully read the author guidelines and prepare their manuscripts according to the Persian-language instructions before submission.
Following the initial evaluation by the journal’s Executive Manager, manuscripts that receive preliminary approval from the Editor-in-Chief are sent to qualified reviewers for evaluation.
Submitted manuscripts are first screened to ensure compliance with the journal’s formatting and writing requirements and to determine whether their subject matter is consistent with the journal’s aims and scope. At this stage, the author is notified regarding approval of the manuscript for peer review and the requirement to pay the peer-review fee.
