اگرچه خوش‌نامی اخیراً وارد ورزش شده است اما رفتارهای حمایتی مسئله‌ی جدیدی نیست و همیشه موردتوجه تیم‌های ورزشی قرار داشته است. هدف پژوهش حاضر این است که مشخص کند آیا، خوش‌نامی تیم می‌تواند موجب بروز رفتارهای حمایتی تماشاگران شود؟ در این پژوهش تعداد 580 نفر به‌عنوان نمونه از جامعه تماشاگران تیم‌های پرسپولیس و استقلال تهران انتخاب شد. پرسشنامه‌ها به دلیل مؤلفه‌ی هیجانی خوش‌نامی به‌صورت آنلاین توزیع شد تا عواطف روز بازی بر پاسخ تماشاگران اثرگذار نباشد. پرسشنامه خوش‌نامی تیم چانگ و همکاران (2015) شامل 6 مؤلفه و 19 گویه، رفتارهای حمایتی و ادراک خوش‌نامی پونزی و همکاران (2011) هرکدام 4 گویه بودند که در طیف پنج ارزشی لیکرت تنظیم شد. برای روایی محتوایی پرسشنامه‌ها از نظرات 7 نفر از اساتید مدیریت ورزشی و از تحلیل عاملی تأییدی برای روایی سازه استفاده شد. خوش‌نامی تیم، بدون حضور ادراک خوش‌نامی 0.42 اما با حضور ادراک خوش‌نامی 0.24 از رفتارهای حمایتی را پیش‌بینی پذیر کرد. همچنین ادراک خوش‌نامی، به‌عنوان یک سازه هیجانی اثر بیشتری نسبت به مؤلفه‌ی شناختی بر رفتارهای حمایتی دارد.
