هدف تحقیق حاضر بررسی تاثیر تمرینات شناختی حرکتی بر درد، دامنه حرکتی و کیفیت زندگی بیماران زن سالمند دارای استروآرتریت مفصل زانو بود. در این پژوهش نیمه تجربی، تعداد 30 نفر بیمار زن سالمند مراجعه کننده به بخش طب فیزیکی بیمارستان بین المللی تبریز به صورت در دسترس انتخاب و به طور تصادفی ساده در دو گروه تجربی (16نفر) و کنترل (14نفر) قرار گرفتند. بیماران گروه تجربی به مدت 8 هفته، 3 جلسه در هفته و هر جلسه به مدت 60 - 45 دقیقه تمرینات شناختی حرکتی را انجام دادند. دامنه حرکت مفصل زانو با استفاده از الکتروگونیامتر و از پرسشنامه KOOS برای اندازه گیری درد و کیفیت زندگی استفاده شد. داده‌های جمع‌آوری شده با از استفاده آزمون تحلیل واریانس مرکب در سطح معنی‌داری 05/0 و نرم‌افزار SPSS18 مورد تجزیه ‌و تحلیل قرار گرفت. نتایج تحقیق حاضر نشان داد پس از تمرینات شناختی حرکتی میزان درد (001/0 =P)، دامنه‌ی حرکتی (001/0 =P) و کیفیت زتدگی (001/0=P) به طور معنی داری بهبود یافت. با توجه به یافته‌های این پژوهش به نظر میرسد تمرینات شناختی حرکتی می‌توانند به عنوان روشی مفید جهت توانبخشی زنان سالمند مبتلا به استئوآرتریت زانو مورد استفاده قرار گیرد.
